Conniption spent quite a few months at Real-2-Reel Studios in Glendale Heights, IL and at their practice facility in South Milwaukee, WI writing and recording their debut album! The album includes studio takes of their live hits: Eye for an Eye, The Witches' Hammer, Workhorse, and Metal Mayhem.

The album (A Method to Madness) also includes other songs played live over the past two years and a couple new tracks.
